Sad, I know, but I really love the advert on TV at the moment featuring Harvey (if you've not already seen it look on youtube and type in "dogs home harvey advert" - my computer skills don't run to inserting a link!). But as I contemplate another load of washing and ironing, I wonder if I can train Donnie to the same standard as Harvey....or are such tasks too boring for a whippet???

Ha ha ha great advert yes if anyone does know how to train their dog to do what Harvey does i would like to know aswell. Personally i think whippets are way too clever for that !!!!

dont know about them doing as much as harvey but i have been chatting to a lday with 2 assistance dogs whos group train your own dog to help you if you ahve a disability and have been seriouly thinking weather they could train one of theses guys to help me. what a joy it would be to not have to say to peole can you pass me this pick that up help me get this off. If one of my gang could do it that would be the best ever so you never know a whippet might do a litle of what harvey can

What a brilliant idea! We all know how intelligent our dogs are (especially when there is something in it for them) and I bet they would absolutely love to do a job for their mam. Go for it :thumbsup:
