My 18 year old Son isn't...not when it comes to cars anyhow...he's obsessed with everything being just so!!

He couldn't iron a shirt, cook a meal or put a load of washing on...but his car...is perfect

Oh for shame Harry Boyd.

I can flush and change the oil, inc. filter.

Flush and change radiator fluid

Change spark plugs and HT Leads

Brake pads, and brake shoes

Top up gearbox oil

With a little help I can even replace clutch, drive shafts and entire gearbox

Then of course there's the simple things like windscreen wiper blades and arms and changing a tyre. (nearly wet myself laughing at 2 girls trying to change wiper blades on their car at a petrol station - took them about 20mins AFTER they'd got the old blades off the car).

This of course explains why I shout Robert out to do these jobs for me and am a member of the RAC just in case.

Don't have a dog and bark yourself :- "

When we first got Punty from Auction it was doing just 27mpg (03 plate 1.2 8v). Now it sits at around 55mpg when I'm doing 70mph on the motorway (48mpg when I'm doing 90mph :b ).

very difficult for me  i drive cars........i dont maintain them..............thats the old mans job :- "

wouldnt have a clue :b

Hey get this too......he's just been down to Halford's for some pipe cleaner stuff-

and he told the salesman that his girlfriend had done it--

Salesman's reply was

"mmmm-they're always doing that kind of daft stuff aren't they"?

Harry said "yeh"!

(Harry the Moron's mum)-Karen  -so proud ;)
