Yes, I think that may be significant. Our cat went through a phase of sharing beds with hime, now they just eye up the best places and make a dash for the current favorite place when it's free. Pussycat got the radiator chair all day yesterday, one very smug cat (and very baleful whippet).

Awwwww great pictures :huggles: both of you,..... :huggles:

Great shots, still trying to get our cat Chilli in the same room as the pups but they are a bit toooo manic for her I think. It did take her a while to get on with Jack our last whippet and actually did both sleep together on my lap and became good friends, after he died everytime I came home she always looked straight past me looking for her mate.

I would have thought whippies the ideal cuddling partners for cats because of their hot water bottle capabilities

:D

That's a lovely sight to see :)

DeeDee's arrival has been a big change to our monster cat Saffy, but she's been a superstar about it really, and is accepting her more everyday. As long as DeeDee doesnt physically touch her - certainly no bottom sniffing allowed - then she says she doesnt mind her being around (and secretly thinks she's quite cute really  )

Not quite cuddling up - but at least they're sleeping on the same sofa now

Alfie is in love with our cat Lara who is 11. They frequently snuggle up on the sofa and snore.

It's very heartening :* to see all these pics as our cat and dog are still at loggerheads... and it's hard work! How did you all manage it?!!!

That's lovely, I have photos of my old dog and cat like that. They can be really good friends if they are young enough - we left it a bit late getting our puppy when the cat was already 5. She was great at training him though, I think she must have read that book that says you must make them eat after you (as she always pretends to eat scraps even though she has no interest in them, just to make him wait) and stop them going through doors before you do (she always makes him wait and whine a few minutes before casually turning away to let him past). It does work though, he has far more respect for her than us
