It was such beautiful day yesterday, after a week or so of rain and freezing tempertatures. Lucky you being able to spend it on the beach. What a great start to your life of leisure" :)

Great picture as always.

Lida

Great pics Karen. I took Cash and Dino to the beach about two weeks ago but I'm too scared to let them off in case they come across unfriendly canines or decide that they like the beach too much to come back to me or worse still run up into the park and then onto the road!

When my parents lived in Brisbane we used to take the dogs to Nudgee beach and that was great when the tide was out. Miles of sand and a long way from a busy road. Used to let dogs off there without too much of a worry .

Luci's mum ... those last two JRT pics are postcard material I reckon!

Lovely beach pictures Tesa (Karen). Lucky you...parttime...start off as you mean to go on!

Luci's mum...that last piccie is great too. I love Wales. Is it the Ogwen (?) Valley with Tryfan on one side and the Carneddau the other? We camped there a few weeks ago now...it was beautiful!

Karen, Firstly Congratulations on the Part Time  Love every minute - I do.

Those pictures are lovely of Max and Beau   and the scenery is just lovely -can I live there too.thumbsup:

(I still havnt had a trip to the beach yet - but Kobi is still car sick.) takes about an hour to our nearest one.

Congrats on working part time! Thanks

Fantastic photos!

Can say the same thing about your photo's.  Lana is right they are postcard material

I wish I lived near the beach. We went to Wales last weekend, was the first time our jack russell had seen the sea, and boy did she go crazy! She LOVED it, went tearing up & down like a lunatic! She also discovered how much she loves to climb rocks, she went as high as she could at every opportunity (with worried mum looking on!).

She is just beautiful.  Am sorry I hadn't spotted you getting her.  How long have you had her and what is her name?

Aw poor Kobi :( hope he out grows it soon Janis. The beach will be the one thing I miss when we move. Although we will still be only 30 minutes from the water, it won't be a dog friendly off leash beach. That will be about an hours drive :(

And you didn't take your camera  :p

but I'm too scared to let them off in case they come across unfriendly canines or decide that they like the beach too much to come back to me or worse still run up into the park and then onto the road!

I know what you mean.  Nothing spoils a nice walk quicker than somebody elses out of control dog deciding your dog is going to be dinner  :(    Coming back, when I wanted them to, was never Tesa and Max's strong point.  So we have worked on recall with Beau since day one.  So far he has never not come back when I've called him.  After yesterday's excusion, I am pretty confident that if Beau can hear me, he will always come back     Even better, Max has improved because of Beau.

Am looking forward to seeing beach photo's of Cash

The beach we went to was a designated dog beach.  Cliff's meant they could only go up and down the beach.  Lots of poo bins and bags, which was good.  Not a quite a Queensland beach, but made me happy

Luci's mum ... those last two JRT pics are postcard material I reckon!

I agree

Thanks Janis. We think Max is a least 13. We have had him 12 years nex Jan.

He is still going strong, just not as strong as he use to be. It's only been this years that he has run for miles disappearing into the distance. He now stays a lot closer to home, which is why I don't take as many photos of him, as he is usual too close for a decent shot. He has a touch of arthritis and doesn't always make every jump. but he still perks up for a play and he is definetley top dog. Beau won't cross him, luckily for Max Beau does't even try. And he loves a cuddle

Karen, congrats on only working part time now, it must be great to be home with your boys a whole lot more. I'm sure the boys will enjoy it too, if it means lots more walks like the one from the photos. Absolutely brilliant photos yet again, thanks for sharing them with us.

How's the house coming along? Any updates for us.

Hugs

Andrea
