Surely someone could organise a bend meeting at a suitable venue. Give it a go and see how it runs and get the views of those that take part. The non-peds have run at them for years. Don`t be kidding yourself that setting up a bend track on the day of the meeting at a playing field is the proper venue to hold a Championship meeting ! There is a huge part to be played in bend racing for Whippets as it displays more track craft and more exciting racing ! Plus I think the dogs enjoy it.
