Talking of these and in relation to the facts that cats and pigs have 'caught' bird flu by eating infected carcasses.
Does anyone know on here whether there is any risk of dogs catching it from eating raw fowl be it chicken wings or dead wild birds?

If someone has already answered this somewhere could someone point me in the direction of the posts please?

 there possibly is a risk although none have been reported as yet. as long as your getting the birds from UK farms then there isnt a risk at the moment, as we dont have :nuke: bird flu :nuke: here yet! Although DEFRA have said that it should be fine as long as you freeze the chicken and completely defrost it before feeding

If you feed raw, and its something i have had a go at (cant quite bring myself to feed raw mince though) where is the best place to purchase it,
butchers? or a farm shop and where do i find one of those....

Chicken wings are very cheap in asda, but where do you get necks ??

ask your local Butchers

Yep, local Butchers will get necks. Not all will though. We have turkey necks free from them. They are massive though, so only chloe gets them. they look absolutely disgusting, but she loves them! :x

Ive had a turkey neck for yrs now, its sitting on the top of my shoulders
