This will make you laugh...well I did..even thought it scared me too...

Popped off to do a bit of shopping for Louise, as her Dad is calling via Liverpool tonight on his way to Birmingham.. :- " :- "

Well here I was in Thorntons buying some toffee for my Dad, its his birthday tomorow and my mobile went...

Had to wait till I got outside to answer it...and then Richard asked if Id left the Chipmunk cage door open. Hed gone into our empty shop where the cage is and where he keeps his work stuff...and there are the little blighters running round having a whale of a time...

They were just dammed lucky the dogs wernt following him.. (w00t) he said he ran round like a headless chicken trying to catch them...and wait for it ....the white one Casper went back inside himself .....and Woody the brown one ran inside my Hunter Wellies... so hubby picked it up and tipped him back into the cage..

I stood in the street pmsl... but they will never be as lucky again in our house... (w00t) :clown:

Ohhh Lucky Janis............they are quick but i wouldn't

fancy their chances with your boys.

I'll never forget the look on the girls faces when one

of the chins jumped out of the cage and landed at

their feet............talk about all thier christmas's

coming at once

omg glad they are ok,i bet it was a shock

i once had a similar situation with my daughters rats ;) ,i took her to school one morning then went shopping, when i got back home i noticed the cage was open and then noticed the cat fast asleep and very contented :sweating: ,so freaked out and ran upstairs to check her bedroom, still no signs,so got on the phone to the school after a long wait this little voice on the phone said "whats up mum" wheres the rats cause i think the cats eaten them :sweating: ,she said "oh sorry mum ive left them in your bedroom" (w00t) i was just so relieved they wasnt the cats dinner :p :teehee:

Thing is Anne Richard often leaves the door open when hes on the phone in the next room ...they could well have escaped into the garden... (w00t) facing god knows what....my cats and whippets...

Thank god they are back in that cage...

Richard said he just saw a white flurry.... then realised it was the chipmunk then saw the brown one ...

 Your post made me laugh. It reminded me of when my youngest sister was little and her hamster got out - we thought the dog had eaten it but it was just having a wander round :- " but my mum was going beserk saying it would breed in the carpet (w00t) (w00t) it was so funny, she wouldnt have it that it would have to find another hamster first
