Last night at about half past 12 we had a very scary incident where our 13 month old beddy x whippet managed to get a hold of a full box of after eights. She managed to eat about 7 or 8 of them and chew up the packets of the rest and maybe most of the contents before we got to her. We only decided to go down and check on her because we heard her going in and out regularly which isn't normal for her. We rang the vets (this is at about 1 in the morning) and luckily he said the quantity she had eaten wasn't enough to cause her any trouble, sure gave us a fright though. So much that i volunteered to sleep down in the front room with a caffeine fueled lurcher. I had a lovely nights sleep as you can imagine. I got stood on, jumped over, licked, things thrown on me and on on occasion slapped by her 'pully thing'. So really this huge rant/story is all about the fact that you may think your chocolates are out of reach, but no, you're wrong. :- "

poor you im glad she ok but hearing about your nights sleep or lack of it did make me laugh sorry  hope you get a better nights sleep tonight

 ......... and the moral of this story, I reckon, is to

make sure you eat all the chocolate yourself before you

go to bed :- "
