With the festive season in mind, Scruples Whippet Rescue thought it would be really nice to post pictures of whippets and have a fun competition on the new website which should be live next week.

 

If any of you would like to submit a picture of your whippet/s in a Christmassy mood then we would be delighted to add them to the display

 

The competition will be judged just before Christmas by Sam Clark of Farlap Canine Photography http://www.farlap-photography.com/articles.html and the winner and placings will be announced on Scruples website and also on here.

 

Pictures can be submitted to scruplesteam@yahoo.co.uk - please write a bit about the picture too, it's always nice to know the name of the whippet/s in the picture and the history behind it :thumbsup:

I cant get my whippies to pose long enough to take a photo! All this snow has affected their brains, theyve all gone crazy!

Can I just add to Janes post and say that is not quite the same competition that we aimed to launch last month when we wanted to build an advent calender, sadly we just didnt get that one quite off the ground before December was upon us. However, all the photographs that have been submitted already for that will of course be going forward into this competition and are currently being processed.

Yes, Hazel, we have Tippy's picture and, thank you, a very nice one it is too :thumbsup:

If you want to say a little bit about her, please do. It's nice to have a bit of background but we only have room to put a sentence with the picture so just basic info is fine - ie name, age, best points!!

Oh good ) Tippy age 5 was a rescue came to us at 18 months, she has just been diagnosed with a heart condition and we love her to bits :wub:
