wondered if any of you have any good advise on constipation in poorly dogs.

my cousins dog as had a stroke and is very slowly improving though could take many weeks, and shes struggling to get him to eat as his appetite isnt good, now she as the problem of constipation and as asked me if there is anything natural that could help, any advice is very welcome to help poor benji out

Either bran or liquid cod liver oil or such like will help :) ....Poor lad ..... Horlicks is very good at helping build a dog up, plus its sweet so they often love it ... :luck:

In the past I've heard people suggest bran to help firm up stools for dogs with anal gland problems. I've never used it on my dogs either way.

aww trish sorry no advice but hope benji gets well soon poor love :huggles: :huggles:
