I had to go away to France on Monday for four days on my employer's quarterly conference/training meeting

It was lovely to see Paris, albeit briefly as we were kept very busy, and the weather was dry and pleasantly warm

But ....... apart from missing my little Jinny so much it was torture ..... I thought it was really strange to not be able to read the topics on K9 and have a laugh (or a cry) from following some of the things that folks talk about on here :lol:

I reckon K9 is better entertainment than any TV and, what's more, it's full of useful advice as well

I try to restrict my boys time on their PC....... 'Too long on there isn't good for you'....... ' and does that go for you too , MUM'?...........'of course,now get off that computer.... !!!!'

Now here's a story, Tracey!! The flights both ways were just fine. :thumbsup: However, we had a slight problem coming back as the French baggage handlers were staging lightening strikes and after sitting on the plane for over an hour waiting for our luggage to be loaded, the captain finally gave up and flew us back without the bags (w00t)

So now we're waiting for them to arrive :- "

Apparently the first flight today was too full to load any more weight on and they were hoping that some would come in on this evening's flight???

When they do arrive the airline are going get couriers to deliver them to us.

My colleague lives near Redruth in Cornwall and her house keys were in her case so she can't even go home until her case arrives

I was lucky as I only had clothes in mine ......... oh, and the legal document that we're meant to carry with us at all times when working. Shame 'cos that meant I couldn't go to work today :- "

Im addicted..........i cant tell u the number of times i have been talking to my OH and said "so and so on K9 community does xyz" and he says do you actually do any work (i check it about 07:20 when i get to work.......dont start till 8am.....honestly i get in early for the traffic not to come on here!!)

I agree and think that i would have never got some of the great advice that i have had if i hadnt come on here!! Plus i get to see loads of pics of other dogs which i love.

Me too!! Haven't been able to get on it today cos of Bebo.msn,the sims ...you get the picture and I have been a little cranky :sweating: :sweating: hate to think I am missing something :lol: must admit I do have a good laugh on here and it's funny that it is with some people I have never met and probably never will and I also have met a few k9'ers and it is so cool to actually put a face to a name but at least we all can get together on here and catch up :thumbsup: :thumbsup:
