Shops? You'll need to go into scarboro for that, Cayton Bay is only small, has one ice cream shop and a surf shop in the car park.

Hope you have a good day and the weather is nice, can get a bit nippy down there

ok shops are out then, husbands pleased with that news.

your dogs look really well behaved, mine carnt keep still on the beach, its either running or chasing each other or other dogs.

just been to swinsty resevoir and they bolted into the woods,we called and called and just when you start to worry that they have been too long gone, they return, what little nightmares they are.

No don't worry, shops are still in, scarboro is only 4 miles away  Bet the husband is happy now!

They are not well behaved, shortly after we took the photo with the surfer Lennys teeth mysteriously attached themselves to the fin on the blokes board :- " He thought it was funny though :)

I've only ever lost sight of these two once and I didn't like it at all, its not because they are well trained, its because they are clingy!!! Lenny is a right mummys boy

This is more like it, the only reason they seem so calm is because my camera is rubbish and blurs when I try to take moving pictures

Love the pictures. Can't wait to explore that area again in the summer with Muffin. Your description of Lenny's teeth attaching themselves mysteriously to the surf board is very apt and made me laugh  You just can't turn your back on a whippet for a minute can you? :- "

Muffin and ????? any more news yet?

I love it in that part of the country, we've been to Whitby loads. We went to a beach near Boggle Hole one year & the tide came in very fast & we had to wade back & the dogs had to swim (w00t) bit scary.

had a lovely day today at reighton sands, didnt get to cayton bay because we went to reighton first and had the hole beach to ourselves.

so next time cayton bay.

i am having problems putting pics on her, dont know why,im making them smaller and still they must be too big,any advise would be appreciated.

Glad you had a good day, yes reighton sands is lovely too isn't it. We had the whole beach to ourselves in Robin Hoods bay, its great when that happens :D

When I put pics on I resize them in Paint. Click on Image, then stretch/skew, then change the stretch (I usually change it to about 50%, but it depends on how big the picture is to start with). Just trial and error, think it needs to be below 75k to fit on.

The only downside of resizing in paint is that you can only put one picutre per post. Others use photobucket, when you can post loads of pics on the same post, but I haven't got round to working that out yet :b

Can't wait to see the pics, keep trying :teehee:

think ive mastered the art of down siizing pics, but im going the long way round to acheive it.

 what a lovely picture! I love black and blue whippets the best :D but somehow I ended up with a fawn and fawn brindle

I've got all my whitby pics back now. Here are a few more.
