dont expect any police to come, cos they wont, our old dog was also savaged in similar circumstaces over a year ago and were still waiting for them to come.

well something will be done, the dogs can get out and do this again, or kill next time

photo where the dogs can get out onto foot path

and this is where 1 of the dogs got hold of zac, did'nt have to jump just walk through

looks well used last pic of hedge,so they know where they can get through.

hope zak is feeling better :luck: :luck:

Id put a fox snare on that one,and next time he came at my dog's ,would be his last. What if a small child walked past there with a wee toy dog,or doll or summit with her,or one of those wee furry teddy bear's.It would just pull them back through that run,and they would just be another statistic.Make's you think, dont it.All dangerous dog's should be put to sleep imediately,no ?.Sometime's the law just dont want to know. How's the wee man doin now Yvonne. ...Billy...

Zac seem's better bruising almost gone thank's to witch hazel, and Arnica and he went a little walk yesterday think that made him feel better, back to vets monday and hope to get some stitches out, should have got some out on friday but the vet said because of his age he wanted to leave them 12 days before taking anyout

GOOD NEWS

just had phone call from the owner of the dog, he was horrifed by Zac's injuries he's offering to pay the vet bill and any cost, he's also had builder's in today for a quote for 6ft fence along the footpath, and will be putting that up asap  he can't understand why his dog after years off living there decided to do this,

i just told him the dog/s should never have had the chance to do it, the 6ft fence should have already been in place,

he's going to phone on monday to see how zac get's on at the vet's :b

going to phone the police monday and thank them for all there help :b nice to know they are on hand whenever you don't need them :- " SPEED CAMERA IN HAND

good to know the guy is @ least taking responsibilty 4 wot has happened.

I suppose at least he is going to pay the vet bill. Let's hope he does make sure it never happens again.

Hope things are looking better for Zac at the vet on Monday :huggles: :luck: :luck: :luck:

Would still like to see the culprit who did the damage P.T.S though,as he's had the taste now,and 6ft wont keep him in.He would want 2ft of barbed wire on top of that.(Preferably wired to the main's). ...Billy...

Good to see you,ve finally had some response from the owners Yvonne  Will ring you later :D

paying the vet bill better than going to court. he must of relised you are not going to let it drop. hope zak is feeling better :luck:

zac went back to vet's to get stitches out today, they were able to take them all out at once, the top off his head look's ok, but his neck not so good some off the skin is dead the vet thinks its best to leave it for now, :( he's so good never made a sound when they were taking them out and having a good look at his neck

That's good he seems to be on the mend :huggles: Hopefully he will keep going from strength to strength bless him :luck: :luck: :luck:

hope so, only time will tell but he's much better with each day now
