Hello, I've never been to crufts, and was wondering... is it mainly a sit down show where you watch the dogs in the ring, or is it also a bit like Discover Dogs where you can actually meet the dogs and talk to the breeders?

thanks everyone.

Hi Kitty,

Crufts is a bit of everything

You can watch the dogs being shown in the rings, shop til you drop, watch obedience and good citizen competitions, there is agility and flyball, Discover Dogs (the boys and I will be there on Saturday (w00t) ) Heelwork to music displays..........

The list goes on and on. It is a really good day out and there is so much to see. This will be the first Crufts that I have attended where I actually know some of the dogs in the ring, so very exciting for me

Hope you go, and if you're there on Saturday come and see us at Discover Dogs :D

Thanks TC. We do want to go on friday, but if it was mainly a spectator thing, the kids would get restless.. so.. It sounds perfect, with lots of variety.

see you there!

I think someone else posted on another thread that there is a creche (w00t)

we took alexs 2 years back she was 9 then and loved it it so big and theres so much to see they wont get board infact you will be lucky to see everything in one day. if you have very young ones that could still fit in a buggy i would consider taking one even if the kids a bit on the big side as theres a lot of walking involved and comfy shoes are a must food and drink is very expenciv so take stuff with you escacialy for the kids

Thanks everyone. will arrive with drinks, and shoes the closest to slippers we can find!

:)

cant wait.

go to http://www.adobe.com (I think) and download acrobat reader.

If that's not the right addy just put acrobat reader in a google search and you should be able to find it - it's a free download.
