just finished watching the judging and im over the moon as janice bannisters home bred shiba bitch ch janeryls in the line of fire went best of breed and then won the utility group!janice bought her first shiba from me in 1995 which was geifang hocus pocus at janeryl.lou lou did well for her and won 21 1sts from 23 shows and a few res ccs too.also was pleased to see ian blackshaw an old friend of ours who used to live just up the road from us and he won the best of breed tibetan spaniel.ian started out many years ago in german shepherds which his dad used to show.he made up a couple of champions i think ch karaeshas amorous and ch ravenways joyful.hes been in tibbies for many years now.also saw carol bevis's (havent seen her in years!)daughter showing a top winning akita i think she won best opposite sex.

We were cheering on the Shibu, I just loved the way it moved. I have a soft spot for Tibetan Spaniels, I think I would probably like one, they are lovely little dogs.

Yea Tony Alcock the Japahnese Chin owner is world famous Bowls player from this area. He also had/bred Whippets.

Very pleased that the Shiba got the group - it lives just down the road from us! :thumbsup:

Also loved the Toy winner - how fantastic to make it up to an English Champ and win the group whilst on their honeymoon :huggles:

Better not let Conor know that Jo and I were admiring the Chiauau as he LOVES them and is desperate for one :lol:

I could never stand his mother, the actress Julia Foster. she was always so affected. In fact, I think he is a slight improvement (w00t)

 

I do think Claire Balding is a great presenter though, whatever programme she is on
