Great to see so many photo's .......... BUT......

I personally was not very pleased that someone was using flash photography on my dog whilst he was stood on the table. He was looking around trying to find out where the snapping was coming from and it unnerved him a great deal.

Just my personal opinion but i think that its not really on to get close, flashing in the face of other peoples dogs :- "

You can actually see Frankie looking round to the side on one of the pictures on there - he was not happy believe me, and to get pictures of the dogs on the table, you had to be close. :(

Flash photography is not supposed to be used whilst judging is in progress :rant:

Just saw this post. Yes she was. She came across and spent the first 2 days in London then the rest of the week at Crufts.

I agree, It is lovely to see pics espesh for people who couldnt attend but using a flash whilst judging is wrong IMO, I know it is the rules that this should not be done but to be honest even if it was allowed i wouldnt do it!. I tooke some pics at crufts - the very few i took when judging were taken without a flash, No they didnt turn out very well but i would rather have dissapointing photos than distract a dog when it is there to show.( Unless of course it is the owners relatives or friends taking pics if they have been asked to or given permisson to by the owner/handler)

I used the flash on some dogs AFTER judging :thumbsup:

Regarding flash photography, no, I choose not to use flash while the dogs are being shown. I'd hate to be responsible for upsetting a youngster.

I think it is generally accepted that once the class is over, then the winners can be snapped with flash.

No in all fairness it's doing the same to me, perhaps it don't like country bumkins :clown:
