Billy`s coming down with TROUBLE and NIKITA, fair play to him and you for making the effort !

All the `others` will be back on K9 after Sunday you will find and hearing about going to the dreary Game Fairs spending hours walking round in circles ! The racing at these is c**p and only a couple of dogs with any racing ability and beating the same opposition 25 lengths every week ! No credabilty in that in my book !

Good on you Billy and Good Luck :luck: , will be interesting to see how Archers siblings do as I am still unable to get Archer on the track due to work committments :(

Maybe its a little harsh on the others to infer they are pothunters, when maybe, now that the anti has been raised, they just dont think their dogs can pull another victory out of the bag ????

Fingers crossed you all have a wonderful days racing. :luck:

[

we wont be ther for a reason not because we dont want to and for running against dogs you no you r going to beat a few of you have done it week in and week out john watch the throphy bit because you have run in every thing you can to gather them i think enough said al the best for your racing

Sorry you cant make it Coatsy and Robert, this is the type of racing you should all strive for up the North. Would loved to have seen MISS TORI compete and tested as I have never seen her, apart from the race against COLT, but I had already left !

This event on Sunday will take some winning ! A minimum of 5 runs over 275 yards ! The local hot pot BLACKY is a fair hound, but he got a couple of close runs the other week in Tipperary !

There are also a few quick dogs venturing up from Enniscorthy, one bitch in particular who won their Racing League last year !

ERNIE has no chance against these dogs, but I wouldn`t miss this and taking part for the world !

John`s China can only beat what she`s running against, but fair dues to him he`s prepared to travel great distances for her to compete both here and in the UK !

No doubt Billy will bring his camera, so there should be plenty of `shots` of the days action !

Like Martin's Ernie, mine are only going for the craic,as they are in no way race fit,due to me being out of action, and Kirsty having no one to help her out, with doin the lure work. This,+ all the field's being under a heavy crop of silage, which ain't cut yet.I am back on my feet now.(sort off),and it will have to be full steam ahead,if im to help get the wee bitch's ready foe next month's show down,at Shane's Castle.Sunday will go down as a good day's training, and more important,a day's craic, with old mate's i hope.Which is summit i need badly, having been more or less house bound, for the last month.Good luck to all the lad's n lass's from up here, who are taking the plunge with me. ...Billy...

ATTENTION : Billy, Fra, Coatsy, Stormy, Rose and anybody else that might be interested !
The Midland Lurcher Club will be holding a meet in Portlaoise on Sunday 18th May at 10.30 am. Early start because of the warm weather (Proper thinking !)

A 32 dog stake run over 275 yards. Trophies and good prize money. Consolation Racing for those beaten in the first round with prize money and trophies as well.

All entries have to be in by next Thursday as a draw will take place that evening ! €10 ENTRY FEE. Please contact me and I will forward them to the organisers.

This is a proper meet and if you want to see your dog tested then come on down ! Time Rose and Stormy got their dogs tested properly !

Please support this event, as they have ambitious plans to run a big two day meet later on in the year, where perhaps some top English dogs might travel over to compete ?

They are a grand friendly crowd that enjoy the racing and the craic and this is what all meets should strive for.

Even if you haven`t a runner, come on down for the day out, you wont be disappointed ! !

sounds a great day  hope the day goes well 4 everyone would love 2 come and take part in something new like this but a bit 2 far 4 me maybe in later months with a bit more notice

I would love to have turned up to this event with 'Miss Tori' under normal circumstances... BUT... Miss Tori suffered a very serious TOE INJURY (possible career wrecking) back in september as you know fine rightly!! WHEN, WHERE & 'IF' we decide to run her again will be OUR decision only!! i will NOT risk her not making a full recovery for the sake of a few euro's!! you being a greyhound man you should have known better! As for being 'TESTED PROPERLY' i think we all know she has won more than a few local races!! ;)

Goodluck to everyone attending  :luck: :luck:

Rose :)

I dont think anyone could argue with that!
