The snow and the cold weather did not dampen the spirits of all our K9 friends who weathered the storm and turned up for this annual Christmas event. Some came as far as Dublin and Drogheda. A great days craic was had by all. Congratulations to all the worthy winners and the excellent judgeing, which was carried out fair and most efficently by Colin Coates and Tom Barry. A special word of thanks to Dessie Macken for taking time out to organise the show and the raffle, and making it so enjoyable for everybody. Well done Dessie, you are a star. Dessie, between rosettes, cups, booze and turkeys , we all went home with a car or van boot full. Bluebell was in attendance, a little late but I think she managed to get some photographs. Better late than ever Bluebell. When the show was over we all retired to the bar for some welcome refreshments.

May I take this opportunity on behalf of John and myself to wish all our K9 and doggy world friends a very happy Christmas and Prosperous New Year. Looking forward to seeing you all again next year at the shows god willing.

I wud like to take this oppertunity to apologise for not being at the show folks. But mostly to apologise for not being able to hav Kirsty there. As she was supposed to judge the whippets for Dessie. We heded home on friday nite, but ended up bogged dwn in 15 inches of snow. Haf way up our lane. That is we're the car remained till monday evening. As we hav no signal at home. We cudnt even contact anyone. I spent all week making doggy Christmas cards for everyone. So watever time we meet again. I'll still deliver, lol.m cud sum1 pass my apologie's on to Dessie plz. I've tried txting him. But don't know if he got it. Wish I cud post photo's on here, thru my phone. Cuz I hav sum crackers. Especialy 1 of the car bogged in our lane. We cudnt get out da doors, and had to crawl into the boot to escape, lol
