When your out they poo you put it in a poo bag and pop it in the bin.

But what about at home when they go in the yard or garden......what

do you do with that poo....

Mine, well Rifle's actually NOT mine! :x gets double bagged and put in the wheelie bin which also has a liner bag in it. What a lovely topic for a Friday morning.... :x

I usually pick Megan's up with a piece of toilet roll and flush it down the toilet, if she goes in the garden

Tried to edit my post (I'm a bit thick!) to say it is probably easier for me as Rifle is an only dog :(

Must be harder to find disposal options for multiples! Has anyone ever used one of those 'doggy loo' things they sell in places like Pets at Home?

bag lift bin.

usually the garden poos are first thing in the morning so if you give them 5mins you can get them all at once, saving on loads of bags.

although when the snow all melted there were loads which had been hidden under the snow, so i bought cheap rubber gloves and used a plastic carrier and just wizzed round and then binned the gloves at the end :x

I pick it up with a bag and put it in the bin straight away

I know lol but i was just curious what people did with it,

i have the 4 girls and the supply a fair amount but there

is a lot of people with many more dogs than me.

Yes, after I'd posted my original reply I did wonder about people with lots of dogs :- I've seen those 'Dog Loos' but they are, as I remember, very expensive and require some sort of chemical (needless to say, also expensive!) and have to be sunk into the garden I think. Not sure if I would fancy the equivalent of a chemical toilet draining into the soil?

I'm a bit of a cheapskate so go and buy industrial quantities of nappy sacks from the pound shop to use as poo bags! :D

Yep rubber or latex gloves...my hubby always has loads of these...then either poo bags and bin or flushed down the loo.

Like Katie...found a few hidden ones after the snow, and my garden is a right mess at the moment. Ive heard of a freeze spray that you spray

over it and obviously freezes it and makes it easier to pick up.

If anyone has a link for buying this ..would you put it onto this thread please...thanks.

i have a bucket with a bin bag in it, i use my pooper scoop ;) and tip it all in the bag, then twice a week put the bag in the bin and start with a new one :x

It is bagged and put straight in the bin. What a topic to read when I having my lunch!

I have to clear up poo on quite a large scale with my pack of 11 (w00t) so this is how it happens!

Well, to start with I pick it up with this .........

Then it goes into this ...........

Which, when it's full, finally get tipped into this, along with the horse poo and dirty cat litter too ...........

When the muck trailer is full, I give my neighbour a tenner to tow it away with his tractor and empty it in the disused quarry on his land

My lots poos go in a lidded bucket with disinfectant and water, when three quarters full it goes down the cess pit.

Haven't actually got a link Janis but I know Pets at Home sell it - at vast expense! Could imagine it would be worth it for any 'messier' ones though, provided it works. Saw it when I was looking at Dog Loos!!

  not sure whats more worrying.......Ann starting this thread in the first place :x

or the the fact that i keep coming back to read it  :x :b (w00t)

Re the sunken garden loo, for those thinking about one, BEWARE, if your soil is clay so not free draining, the water level in the loo just rises, overflows and the contents float around the garden. How lovely on any day, but especially a really, nice warm one! Eau de S__t!!
