I remember once at Ardingly, a lovely sunny day and I had got BOB with Arkle, the brown job I used to have. I took the dogs for a walk over the hunter trial course at lunchtime to while away some time before the group. They had run off, as Whippets do, and were running back and there was this sort of 'shimmer' above Arkle.
