Phew! It seems as though Ella is on the way to recovery!

She's been much more relaxed since the stitches came out and is eating again

Here's a few pics from today ..........

This morning, after visiting the vet, tucking into some jerky

Chilling in her babygrow (w00t) (long sleeves to stop her licking her wound) and the designer stuffed sock collar in place of an elizabethan instrument of Ella torture (w00t)

And one of Jinny so she doesn't feel left out

She is just toooooo cute :wub: :wub: Absolutely adore the babygrow, and loving the collar - is it working? Much better idea than the horrible plastic flower pot things that bash your legs!

Amazingly enough the prototype stuffed sock collar does work (w00t)

It wouldn't be any good for paw injuries but it stops her getting at the top of her leg where her wound is :thumbsup:

We'll get round to refining it one of these days so that it can be used in all circumstances on all dogs!!

Awww, bless Ella!! :wub: Glad to hear she is feeling better. How ingenious are you to invent the sock collar, great idea.

I hate those plastic lampshade things and have always refused to use them on principle, although I am lucky and don't have any suture ripper-outers.
