His little face is a picture asleep in the bed, he looks like one of those trauma victims who's ordeal is finally over. Well done!

Well nearly a week on. Still going very well and his coat and build is improving.

Toileting is also improving.We have work to do with his name,He is responding a little to it.

Eric has settled in with him,But has been under the weather today :x :wub:

He is feeling better today Janine :thumbsup: Just off his food and had been sick,Ernie also off colour yesterday and had severe runs :x But he is also a lot better today.

All ok still :thumbsup:

Just come back from a walk.....we're ll soggy Ernie has his new red coat.

Ernie knows his name now and has put weight on and re-call pretty good :thumbsup:

It's gone very well considering the start in life he had....

Eric is defo the boss :lol:

I dont know how ive missed this topic, but ive been in tears tonight whilst reading all about Ernie's journey from the beginning, to how much he has settled in now, & looking so content & happy.

Good on you for giving a loving whippet such a lovely life from now on. What a wonderful feeling you must have - giving the gift of a happy life - oh no, im getting teary again - stop it julie!

in fact his daddy lead his cousin Amos right across the park last week, through the woods, crossing the park road, straight to the duck pond to 'goose' the geese

so daddy can lead on the flexi lead for now till he remembers what recall is :angry:

Ernie seems to have lost his worried look... i think he knows he's finally home :wub:
