For almost two weeks, Maxine Carr denied the awful truth that stared her in the face.

Police arrested Carr at the same time as Huntley

Her boyfriend Ian Huntley had committed murder in the home they shared. Not once, but twice.

If she had exposed his lies after Holly and Jessica went missing, the police would have quickly established that he was the killer

she then went on to serve 3 and a half years :- "
 
The law is an ass!!! :( everybody is disgusted with the thought of a child sex offender/killer the general feeling is hang the F**k***G BBBB'S!!! WE ALL CAN'T BE WRONG!! What is wrong with this picture???? why is nothing being done?????

It makes me sick to my stomach human rights me arse!!!!

Nobody will ever convince me that Ian Huntley has any human rights or scum like him!!!! get rid ASAP!!!!
 
maxine carr didnt lie to cover up a murder.this is a fact.

maxine carr was not present when the murders were comitted.fact.

maxine carr had no previous knowledge of huntleys previous child abuse allegations.

you can tarnish her all you like by using guilt by association.

luckily the law takes a different view to you ;)

as for the police.huntley had a past record of child abuse although no actual convictions for it.if the police had kept a record of previous allegations of abuse then they might have arrested him quicker,but it would still have been too late to save Holly and Jessica.

Ian Kevin Huntley having committed an arrestable offence, namely the murder of Jessica Aimee Chapman, MAXINE ANN CARR between the 3rd day of August 2002 and the 18th day of August 2002, knowing or believing that the said Ian Kevin Huntley had committed the said offence or some other arrestable offence, without lawful authority or reasonable excuse provided false accounts of her own whereabouts and the activities and whereabouts of the said Ian Kevin Huntley on the 4th day of August 2002 and the 5th day of August 2002 for the said Ian Kevin Huntley, with intent to impede the apprehension or prosecution of the said Ian Kevin Huntley.

IAN KEVIN HUNTLEY and MAXINE ANN CARR on divers days between the 3rd day of August 2002 and the 18th day of August 2002, with intent to pervert the course of public justice, conspired together to do a series of acts which had a tendency to pervert the course of public justice in that they agreed that they would falsely maintain to the police and/or to other persons that the said Maxine Ann Carr was in Soham in Cambridgeshire on the 4th day of August 2002 and on the 5th day of August 2002 and therefore able to corroborate the account of the said Ian Kevin Huntley as to his activities during the said two days.

i stand by my words , let any peado or assistant to the offender all hang :rant: , to cover up the crime in MY OPINION is equally as bad :rant: , as therefore should be dealt with as severely, she knew what he had done and chose not to tell the police or put the families in the light of what had really happened, she said at one point i believe she was scared of him? then why when she stood on tv next to a policeman did she not say i know whats happened and i want to help???

people like thus type are as sick as the ones who actually do it!!! no doubt we will have internet cases soon where people have only looked at child porn or snuff etc , are then then guilty too? hell yes they are coz if they werent sick enough to want to watch it then the people who do it would have less of an audience!! :rant: :rant:

try not to let your feelings cloud your judgement. :thumbsup: maxine carr was found guilty of peverting the course of justice.she did what thousands of people have done over time,she lied to the police.she believed her boyfriend was innocent.most women in her position would have done the same thing,who wants to believe theyre in love with a child killer?but whereas most people who lie to the police to help their loved one arent even prosecuted,maxine carr was demonised by the media and actually compared to myra hindley,and she was prosecuted for a crime thats not usually proceeded with.i too have strong feelings about this.but the reasons i have strong feelings are completely different to yours.mine are based on fact.yours on what you want to believe.we can say shes an evil person but i feel that all she was guilty of was bad judgement ;)

by the way although there WERE 5 indictments she was only actually convicted of 3 of them! :- " an indictment isnt a conviction,its an accusation.its up to the cps to prove it,in this case they didnt prove them all:wink:

How on earth did the perv get onto school property to take pics? i know my sons school gates are locked between school hours and there's just no way you can get anywhere near a classroom or a window and my daughters nursery is like fort knox to get into (and thats just the entrance gates)

As far as im concerned the criminals have more rights than the parents or the kids.....they know where the schools/parks/dance classes/swimming pools are located but we dont know where the pervs are :rant: :rant: :rant: .

as far as the maxine carr case goes as far as i can see she its a case of "stand by your man" there are thousands of women(if not millions) in the world who dont believe that there men could batter them/abuse them/cheat on them/murder/commit offenses...i just think she was a very dim nieve girl who genuinely believed her fella could'nt hurt a fly.

Exactly, just because person is accused of something it does not mean that they actually did it. Sadly newspapers put the accusations on front page but the real truth that is usually so much more mundane, gets reported by one little paragraph on page 18. Sadly even if person is convicted of something does not necessarily mean they did, there have been plenty of high profile cases in Britain where the innocent people ended up in jail for a long time. And the guilty got never caught.

By the way most children get abused not by stranger but somebody they know very well, either member or close friend of their family, priest, scout leader etc.

If police would arrest anybody who they think might do something, there would be nobody left walking the street. :wacko:

People who rape children do get life sentences. Here person who is found to have visited child porn site gets long sentence.

Since the UK does not have death penalty, once released they have to go somewhere and as no community would knowingly accept them, the authorities have no choice but to care of them. If they could live somewhere where everybody knows who they are, they would be under scrutiny 24/7 by every person. And the children would know that is the person they should not talk to.

But it looks like you guys would rather like to have sharia law. :)

correct michelle!and the judgement reflected that.she was only convicted on 3 out of 5 of the indictments,and they were quite minor ones as ive already said.there was absolutely no evidence to convict on the 2 main indictments and quite rightly they were thrown out. ;)

Sadly, judging from the number of child porn sites apparently being on Internet, there is a lot of men who do get turned on by children. Fortunately, most just look. But they are ordinary looking men, someones sons, brothers, husbands and fathers. Which means that most of us would probably know one, and their families and friends would find it hard to believe it about him.

I once worked in the same company with this really lovely man, everybody just adored him, he had a nice wife and beautiful 3 children. He loved children (yeah), if any client came in with kids he played with them, sat them on his knees. I always felt that in this respect he is rather over the top, and very unprofessional. One day he did not come to work, and his desk got cleared after hours, and we never saw him again. But the word was out that he was arrested for some child sex offence. I feel sorry for his wife and kids who had to move because of the neighbors abusing them. As if what ever happened was not difficult for them to deal with. :(

Had a simlar thing at Kierens school last year 2 blokes hanging about near the school which is a country school up a farm lane.

School sent a letter home warning parents of the 2 men who had been seen for 2 days loytering? (why 2 days before we were told) I then contacted the school and suggested they asked male parents who dropped kids off/picked them up to stand and watch the lane/children whilst they get into school and out.

I offored to stand at the bottom of the lane from 8.15am till 9am and again at night 3.15-3.45 my thinking being if they were perverts and they saw male parents supervising the kids they would be less likely to hang about or try anything?,

my offer was met with a very rude letter from the then Head/Secretary stating the school would not support what I was suggesting and so would not ask other parents to help?

I then asked in an exqualy rude letter what exactly it was I was suggesting that they were unable to support? I never recieved a letter as they both left rather suddenly a few weeks later.

it's up to parents to protect as by the time the police can take action its to late.
 
id like to promote the use of "vigilante teams". soon as a paedo has been identified the team should provide constant surveillance and take action as soon as its required :- "

again we can thank the the loony bloody leftys for the state of our societys paedo percentage.....£5 worth of gas can end it. sealed room..flick of a switch..hey presto..paedoless room !

last thursday my youngest daughter who is 8 came out of school and told me a man had his trousers down at the other side of the schools fencing , she and her friend ran in and told the teachers and the police informed , the very next day , a mother had just dropped her daughter off at a school up the road , a man tried to grab her , luckily her coat was unzipped and she got away , i dont live in a town or a built up place , i live in a pretty little village .

needless to say my poor kids will have to suffer this holidays by being cooped up in the back garden while this scumbag walks free :rant:

im with the majority , catch them then let the parents deal with them :D

im a very non violent person BUT id happily torture anyone who laid a finger on a child :rant:
 
well it looks like this wasnt the only incident at the school yesterday,a teachers car was broke into & a father tried to kidnap his son (w00t) i know it sounds like a episode of the bill, this is a really quiet school usually,i hope they now install cctv,like the high school my daughter goes to, i think the school gates should be locked as well at 9.00am
