Hi Martin,

As promised,a picture of our big girl,Lady, with her trophies and rosettes from Sighthound classes at this years Lurcher shows. She has done us proud,as well as being a total pleasure to own.A big, soppy madam, who can still chase a lure at full speed, and give all my dogs a run for their money. It has been a shock for her,as she has aquired a new puppy,in the shape of out Cracker. She treats him as her own, cleaning his ears etc,and he loves her too.We can never thank you enough for letting us have Lady, she has added so much to our lives, anybody else thinking of giving a retired Greyhound a home, you will never look back. :huggles:

(w00t) What a clever girl!! I have 2 retired g/hounds too :) Both suffer terribly

with couch potato-itus and a severe form of sleeping sickness -_-

Lovely trophies and rosettes

Hi,

Thankyou, she is a delight to own.We did,nt have her with the intention of showing her,but as we take the rest,we had a try.The very first show we took her to,she won a 1st.We have just got back with our lot,Lady has had her tank around, its a case of standing still and letting her go barmy. She used to be very scared to go out,now she is worse than the rest for getting excited when we get the leads ready.

What a beauty Lady is  - she certainly deserves all those rosettes!

WOW!!!! ABSOLUTELY STUNNING GIRL :)) DESERVES ALL HER TROPHIES :)) :)) :))

She looks great Amanda ! Thanks for sharing the pictures with everyone.

An update on her July`07 pups to NINGBO JACK ! They are shaping up REALLY well and there are a couple of serious dogs ! One of them,a black dog, not yet named, did a very good `school` for me before he went across to his owner in Birmingham. Well, he gave him a trial on Thursday after two previous handslips and he was so excited he rang me! He did Open class time only 2nd time in traps which is exceptional by any standards ! There is also a few more of the litter showing excellent promise !

Her previous owner is now gutted he got rid of her and had her spayed ! Her litter sister Quare Star threw the big winner on SKY last week DROOPYS KEZ (by Brett Lee) who won the Northern Puppy Derby in Newcastle.

All her litter of nine have now left to continue their careers, four of them are in the UK, so you might get to go and see them run !

Kind regards,

Martin.

Ha,his loss is our gain.I love her for the lovely dog she is,not because she chucks out winners. At least she is with us,tucked up in her quilt at the moment. You could obviously see the potential, which is more than her owner did.It is thanks to you she came to us,as a caring trainer.

Thanks for that.I love the pic of Pauls.I had one printed off at Hartington Wakes, she looks perfect to me,but i am bias :D I think the k9ers who followed us adopting Lady, know how much she means to us.We have just got back from training the dogs with Crackers half sister,Lexi, out of Vickys dog and Cracked it.She loved a little go with the rag,she is a very fiesty madam, thats for sure

Hi Julie and Chris,

It was lovely to see you ,as usual. You are welcome to come and join in anytime.Harry put £10 of the cash from the machine into our club funds, which was kind of him.The regulars put a £1 eash away for string, pulleys etc.We bought some pulleys last year from America, and they were£150,so its good to have a fund for extras.Lexi is lovely, and Bella is such a gentle dog.Hope you have loads of fun with the machine. You have Petes mobey number,so if you ever want to come again, just txt to check its on.See you soon.

She's a gorgeous dog, and it's really nice to see a "retired" dog going on to succeed in other things.

Well done and good luck at future outings (not that you need it!)

Thankyou, that is very kind of you.She may be retired, but her life has just started. She comes camping with us too, which she loves.
