The trouble is that some of your comments show that you are now all acting like this is your private message board and nobody else has the right to look in or complain about it - even to the extent that you are trying to see off anybody that does look in. You have to remember that this thread is on a public forum and your posts are not private. If you want to conduct private conversations which other people are not welcome to join in or read or complain about then there are other more suitable ways.

Every member of this board may read and post where they like and the rules that apply to every other member in every other thread apply here as well. We could hardly have one rule for you and another for everybody else now could we.

We have been asked several times to close this thread as I think other people find it slightly irrelevant to a discussion board (as opposed to a message board) but we have let it go on because at the time it seemed pretty harmless but if that changes then we will have to close it I'm afraid. Also please remember that using stars instead of letters is attempting to get around the word filter so is breaking that rule.

we have never tried to "see people off" everyone that comes in this thread gets a warm hello, we are just having a bit of fun, granted, the language has got a bit bad, but we really mean no harm :thumbsup:

i dont read all the threads on this forum, as they dont all interest me, i guess im thinking that if people dont see the point in this thread, surely they just dont have to read it?? (i mean that in the nicest way)

we will stop the bad language, as we dont want to offend anyone, we just like a bit of a banter with each other :thumbsup:

hey sue...thanks hunny...do you know what really bugs me about this?? its the snidey way it was done..someone coming on here as a guest then complaining about the language..ok hands up..i know i eff and go on here but i honestly dont mean any harm by it..thats the way i am..and i thought this thread was just for us lot,no-one else....i would rather that someone said to me about the language i use..be upfront about it..i would respect that...tell ME ...not the mods on here..... cannot stand backstabbing hunny...be upfront about things...cos thats how i am...i dont want to harp on about this cos i love this thread and i dont want to make it uncomfortable for all you guys..i truly dont....i have such a laugh on here with you guys...made some special friends on k9...anyhoo,wont rant on anymore!!! end of sermon!!!

I know what you mean Helen but its not a case of not having to read it (and that presumes they already know what the threads about) but the fact that they can read it. That's why we have to have posting rules.
