[SIZE=21pt]Isn't it quiet without Sarah. Hope she's doing OK, does anyone know when she will be back?[/SIZE]

I'm off to the vets this morning - no dogs in tow for a change, just taking him a bottle of wine and some biccies for the girlies - the vet was so kind to me over Sweep's croaky throat, and quite reassuring when I imagined he had throat cancer and the like that's me, always over-reacting if my boy gets ill. His bark seems to be getting better - still not 100%. I'm testing a theory at the moment - he has glucosamine powder on his food in the morning. It's a human one a day sachet, and I split it over a few days - I just sprinkle it on like salt! I read the packet a few days ago, and for humans it says mix with water. I'm wondering now if it has irritated his throat? Normally if they are taking glucosamine it's in tablet form which would be swallowed, and wouldn't be in the throat long. Anyway, I might be wrong, but since I stopped it, it does seem to be getting better. I'll mention it to the vet next time, and see what he thinks - fingers crossed Sweep will continue to improve.
