Hello Ladies :*   :* ...can't face Christmas...not the pressie side, can't afford it...seriously broke :(
aww clair :(

its a nightmare isnt it.........i said to my sisters why dont we get each other a box of chocs or biscuits instead of wasting money on presents we dont need ........but they didnt like the idea, so i have to find presents for them and their other halfs

I only have 3 nieces and 2 other little girls to buy for - the rest of us have given up spending for the sake of it. My brother and his wife, and Steve and I go out for a nice meal instead of buying for each other - besides there's nothing I like better than food :teehee:

Having to buy presnts when you don't have enough money makes Christmas a depressing time for lots of people - as long as you're snug and warm, and you've enough to live on - why do we need presents??? Just get round the fire and be jolly - it's OK for kids, but adults should be more sensible. I've just heard Martin Lewis the Money Saving Expert on the radio (man after my own heart), he just made the point that it's OK you buying a nice gift for someone - but they feel they must do the same back, and sometimes it puts them in debt for the rest of the year :(

my elder sister doesnt have kids..........she normally spents about £30 on my kids, i have told her not to.........its silly and they dont know how much things cost and to be honest would be just as pleased with something that cost a fiver..............i have always told my kids that christmas isnt about presents.......but when your 5 and the tv if full of adverts its hard to make them understand

IM LUCKY I ONLY HAVE 5 PEOPLE TO BUY FOR ,ADAM,SAMANTHA,LEE AND ADAMS PARENTS

Can't you blame it on the credit crunch, and just say that it's silly you all feeling you have to buy presents, and maybe buy a tin of sweets per family/household instead? I know it's difficult, especially if you have a big family

HELLO JUNEY GLAD TO SEE YOUR HOME SAFE AND SOUND :huggles:   :huggles:
Thanks Trac, and thanks to you and Clair for your texts to keep me awake (w00t) I got lost on the way - there's a new turnoff for Blunsdon, and I missed it, and ended up on my way to Marlborough, and there was no way of turning round for what seemed like miles - I'm not safe to be let out on my own really  I made it eventually, dead on time, so it was a good job I left early.

Sweep has a tear in his gracilis which isn't too bad, but the worst thing is that he's had a problem with the same muscle on the other leg, and the vet thinks the scar tissue is around 6 weeks old - so I've been a bad mother and not noticed it :( It's probably why he's torn the other one - compensating for the other side. Neither are bad tears, so he will recover with lots of massaging, which he loves  He also has a sore spot in his TFL muscle, so more massaging. Glad to be home now by the fire :huggles:
