little girls leg is looking better , the vet said it could straighten out by itself so he is going to re assess on mon , and just keep our eye on it .

I once had 2 kiitens with what I thought were club feet, called the vet all in tears excpecting him to come and put hem down. Instead he told me to gently rub and bend them to the right shape, by end of the week one looked perfectly normal, by end of the second both did. By the time they were running around there was not sign of a problem. Hope your little girl will be the same. :) :luck: :luck: :luck:

thanks for that , really has given me hope

i thought worse case scenario was that she would always have a slight limp but puppy bones are so bendy that hopefully it will right itself now she has all the room in the world to grow

i will only be keeping bliss . 1) as she has a poorly leg and 2) as she is the only girl in the litter

although the boys are lovely i found it hard keeping kobi away when they are in season , he went to stay with a friend while they were in season but i dont think id keep another boy as it isnt fair on them.

GRATZ!!! awww little miss Bliss is so srummy! and the boys are very handsome too

CONGRATULATIONS JAN and you too of course!

The litter are just lovely   you must be so proud.I am glad Jan has adjusted to motherhood.

And I am sure that Bliss's foot will be just fine,as you say puppies haves such bendy soft bones that I think now she is "out" and not squashed it will right itself.I have my fingers crossed. :luck: :luck:

jan is now the perfect mum , all babies happy and growing well :huggles:

Congratulations on the beautiful pups. Jan has done well!
Hope the little one with the club foot is okay- perhaps the foot was squashed for the last few weeks? My 5 year old son has a clubfoot so I have a special interest, for the first few weeks we were told to massage and stretch the toes/foot out.

my nephew was also born with the same condition and the advice was the same , massage etc so i am doing that a few times a day

the vet says it was her fat brothers squashing her (w00t)

as you say , just in a funny position and it has grown like that.

we are keeping her anyway

so i know whatever she needs will be done for her

My son's was a little more complicated than being squashed in the womb in the end. Since then he has been to Great Ormond St for a couple of ops to straighten it. The good things is however bad it is they always get around it. My son has always run around like a loon whatever position his foot was in and he is a really happy lad!

It's nice to know you are keeping her, she is extra special! :)

the vet has just been , poor little bliss has to go for an exray next week :(

it feels like she either has a double joint in her hoch or it has just grown the wrong way round :(

either way it looks like she will have to have an operation in the not too distant future :(

poor little baby .

I'm really sorry to hear that surgery may be needed :( , but I'm sure that she will be OK. With such a good 4 legged mum and all your love and care, she is a lucky little girl in many ways.

Glad that the boys are doing well, I bet little Bliss  gets the better of them when they are older though.

:huggles: For you all :huggles:

saw them today, it's a great looking litter and realy strong.

hope they all find nice homes as anyone who gets 1 will be very lucky.
