The number of entries was pretty comparable to last year at Blackpool (perhaps better), and actually the actual turnout was better if I remember rightly. Last year there were quite a few absentees in some of the classes, and this year there were only a few missing in spite of the lousy weather.

Well it would appear that the cost of petrol did not put people off from travelling to Blackpool then. I actually wonder whether the entries for Blackpool and Windsor did not close before the steep rise in fuel, was it that expensive at the beginning of May?

i think Windsor being £24.00 PLUS £4 must be the most expensive show of the year , even more so than Crufts (although Crufts Parking is more :rant: )

It certainlt put me off any how :cheers:

Yes and I was another put off paying £28 for 1 dog. Last year I entered 2 dogs with car park for £47!!!
