Went for a long walk today and decided to go past our local organic pig farm, you have to go through a small wood first and look what we came across.

Glad the owner wasnt far away - as we had to keep our distance with the two whippies, a couple of them wernt quite as friendly.

He owns 10 of them altogether, grandmother, mother, father and grandfather - etc, .....hows that for a family pack. :wub:

Managed to get a few more of them on this photo - I know all you lurcher fans will love this one. :thumbsup: You can imagine what the two whippets thought when these lot came into sight. (w00t) including me.

They are good looking, bet they were quite intimidating with your whippies though

Amazingly TopHoundDog - one word from the owner and they all sat down - bar a few scrappy moments. But my heart was in my mouth when I saw them approaching - there was a fence in front of us - but they could have cleared it no problems. (w00t)

scary stuff, I suppose if he had them under full control there is no problem.

One of the worse situations is when idiots get fighting dog pups (i.e staffies) dont socialise them, and have them off the lead in parks. I suppose you all know the kind im talking, good thing is though they all go missing in the winter months when all you see is real dog owners )

Always puzzles me that one - talk about fairweather friends !!!!

Where I walk my dogs can be busy in the nicer weather, but come the winter there are about 6 of us that go despite the scottish weather !!!

Yep we are out Rain, Hail or Shine as the saying goes, only see certain dog walkers in the sunshine.
