First of all thanks to all those racers who came and supported this mid-west open.

It wasn't a great attendance and we have become used to this, but the whippets that did

attend were classy racers.A few problems with the lure at the beggining of the meeting, but they were resolved

I can understand your disappointment Ray but please take into consideration that the Mid-West is a very very

small region, with very few members so funds are limited. In the past trophies were given to be run for annually

but unfortunately as is often the case these were not returned or were broken. Last year Amanda our regional secretary purchased some that were to be kept by the winners, but the regions financial situation this year could not support the cost of more trophies. If the opens were better attended then funds could be put by to offset the cost of buying trophies, but as you saw it didn't even cover the cost of a generous payout. It would be nice to have had a positive comment about the whole day

regards

Doreen

Well done to winners and workers glad you had good day i can see your point ray this is bwra mid west open surely there enough money to get supremes trophy were all money going that people pay there membership/racing fees may be this open should be scrapped like few more in calendar with very poor attendance just my opinion

well done to everyone at fordingbridge, worker and and all the days winner,

my mom dot said she really enjoyed the day at fordy, but unlucky that our

dog lucky darling came up without the track with his muzzle off, which happened to

a new wire muzzle because he kept breaking his others,

but never mind we'll try again with him, but overall we had an enjoyable day,

and are back in wellington somerset on our hols.

Hope everyone got safely,

see you all soon jane and dot.
