We have come to the heartbreaking decision that Monty has to be rehomed, we got him back 5 months ago from his owners and he bonded with Kieren straight away, the only problem is our own dogs do not like him and will not tolerate him at all, he tries to be a bit dominant with them and our dogs wont stand for it, so they have to be seperated at all times which just isnt fair on any of them,

Monty is a lovely light brindle boy who is microchipped, nutured, kc reg, is only problem is the dominance with other dogs, he loves kids and is very loyal, any one who can help this lovely boy get his forever sofa please get in touch.

He's Ok with Bitch's, when he first meets them he puffs himself up ect but is fine with them, we put it down to him having been nutured early as he doesnt seem to know if hes a dog/bitch?.

with our entire dogs he trys to stand over them and be dominant but they wont have it.

A very hard decision to make - but for what its worth, my feeling is that if Monty hasn't backed down yet and accepted a lower place in the pack - then he never will. So, heartbreaking though it is, finding him a new home where he can settle into the position he thinks is right for him, is going to be best in the long run. :thumbsup:

I'm sure someone here will know of the perfect home for the wee man :luck:

Hes fine when hes on the lead and he meets other dogs he"s really friendly, the problem we have is when hes wandering round the house, he thinks he owns it, but my other 2 males have taken exception to this.
