Frankie is 5 months old today. He has been to ringcraft tonight, his third time. He's getting quite confident now and is managing to stand still! I just need more confidence, it's so different to showing Dobes and Staffies!

Here is a picture of him on the table tonight, quality not brilliant due to lighting. Any tips??? Also one of him free-standing at home.

He looks quite good on the table Jo. As a newbie to showing whippies, you are doing quite well. :)

Nice puppy, beautiful front and shape, and standing pretty well too. I would just hold your right hand with bait little bit higher and in front of him so he looks up.

thank you for your comments. Frankie is my first Whippet, so i am learning with him. He is an absolute joy to own and about a million times easier than Chloe was at his age! First show is on 17th March, an open show at Oswestry. We're going to Whippet Club show on 1st April which im dreading making a fool of myself at!

I bet he'll look fantastic and Lily will go round on two legs, her back ones (w00t) .

Do not worry, you have a lovely dog, just keep practising so he walks nicely without pulling, and keep standing him on the table everyday, just for a little while, make it a game so he is quite relaxed about it. Doesn't matter if he doesn't stand perfectly, as long as he used to being handled.

Ringcraft classes are also beneficial. :luck: :luck: :luck:
