would like to introduce you to Daniels new pup Freddie(Florence(GHD)xThe Builder)

We collected Freddie on Friday from Alison and Colins and hes such a cutie we wanted to share some pictures with you all. His frirst night was a sleepless one lets hope he settles down soon. Kaiser wants to play with Freddie all the time but seems to think hes as big as him and can be a bit rough with him but Fredie gives as good as he gets. At one point even hanging from Kaisers ear!

Going to try and attach some pics hope it works!

found this poem just 4 u lisa lol it was in the whippet news a few years back.:

bet u cant own just one!

why own a whippet? theres a danger you know, you cant own just one, for the craving will grow!

theres no doubt they are addictive, wherein lies the danger. while living with lots, you,ll grow poorer and stranger.

one dog is no trouble and two are funny. the third one is easy, the fourth ones a honey. the fifth is delightful the sixth ones a breeze.

you,ll find you can live with a houseful with ease. so how bout another? would you really dare? they,re really quite easy.

but oh lord, more hair! with dogs on the sofa & dogs on the bed & crates in the kitchen, its no bother you,ve said. they,re really no trouble,

their manners are great. whats just one more dog and one more crate? the sofa is hairy, the windows are crusty,

the floor is all footprints, the furnitures dusty.

the housekeeping suffers, but what do you care?

who minds a few nose prints and a little more hair?

so lets get that puppy, you can always find room.

a little more time for the dust cloth and broom.

theres hardly a limit to the dogs you can add.

the thought of a cutback sure makes you feel bad.

each whippet is so special, so sweet and so funny.

the food bill grows larger, you owe the vet money.

your kids never visit, few friends come to stay,

except other dog folk who live the same way.

your lawn has now died and your shrubs are dead too.

but your weekends are busy, "cause your off with the crew" theres dog food and vitamins and shots.

entries and travel which costs lots. is it worth it you wonder? are you caught in a trap?

then that puppy comes up and climbs in your lap. her look says your special & you know you,ll keep the critters in spite of the bill.

some just for show & some just to race, some just for loving, they all have a need and all have a place.

but winters a hassle the whippets hate it too. but must have their walks , though they are numb & your blue.

late evening is awful you scream and you shout, at the dogs on the sofa, who refuse to go out. the dogs and the competition the travel the thrills.

the work and the worry. the pressure, the bills. the whole thing seems worth it, the dogs are your life.

they,re charming and funny and offset the strife. your lifestyle has changed. things just wont be the same

yes those dogs are addictive and so is the dog game!
