you could try smearing some of the stuff to stop us biting our nails on the side of the door where she noses it, we had a staffyxlab who nicked a 12" undecorated xmas cake ate 3/4 of it before being disturbed and still queued up for her supper a short time later.

I can't...thats where Alfie and Blue go when I'm out...it was the only place she was safe...but now...she's just done it again, long walk, popped her back in the house so I could nip to the shop, back to the fridge raided and the bacon gone... :angry:

Clair, I used to use the elastic luggage straps with the hooks on the ends to keep one of mine out of the fridge a few years back. He used to steal everything he could get his teeth into. His favourite thing were eggs. If he got them he would carry them through to the living room and put them on the settee so he could lie and eat them on there. I must admit I was amazed that he could carry them without breaking them. Bless him :angry: , he waited to break them until he was sitting comfortably. :wub: :wub: Don't you just love em!

lol... did that for Django once. Left some bits of food out with mustard and chili flakes on it and he ate every single one! Clearly some whippets have no tastebuds! At least, not after eating all that hot spicey food!

You can get something that makes a loud pig noise when you open the fridge to deter people from snacking! Maybe it would freak her out. Here's a link: 'Diet Piggy'
