Quite possibly, the sweetest boy in all the world. He came out of his crate at the airport and immediately covered everyone he met with kisses. While his new human is already smitten, the whippet girls are rather more stern with him, especially as he already seems to know exactly what a lover-boy should do with a girl...

Thanks, nephew!

Is the clue in the " thanks nephew"? Should we know who your nephew is and therefore know where the little fella comes from?

Ah! What a gorgeous Whippet, I have only just registed with this site, don't really know what I am doing yet, but we have a baby Whippet 8 weeks old today called Malachi.. he's delightful.. the house training will take a bit of time, but he is adapting well, have you always had Whippets? I had a boy called Sam that lived until he was 15 years, but sadly died about 6 years ago.. didn't think I could go through it again.. but so glad to have Malachi. Enjoy your pets.

Kind Regards

Sheila

The baby is by super-sire Khabaray Hugo Boss out of Aust Grand Ch Skyeway Planet Hollywood. He now lives in Dunedin, where it is snowing today...but never as windy as Wellington, Tesa.

The "nephew" in Adelaide sent his old Auntie in NZ a present to outfox customs, who have a nasty habit here of slapping on GST at the airport if they think you are a breeder making money out of pedigree dogs. (Ha!!...as if)

And yep, K, you will meet him in July, he will just squeak in as a baby puppy.

Sheila, his house training has been flawless, I take him out after every meal, and we wait until he does something, and also take him out whenever he looks as if he might be thinking. One trick whippets seem to have is to do two separate pees - the one as soon as he hits the grass and the other 5 mins later, so waiting out there is a good idea, just a tad chilly at present.

I had forgotten how very busy whippet puppies can be!!

I had a feeling he was a Skyeway but didn't think Cartman was your nephew! :- "
