my dad called me up today to see if id go ride a mare he has just bought, off i toddle thinking yer 13.2 no probs!! well what a sweet little thing she is  needs a bit of top to her but generally ok , so off i went long reining her down the lane beside the bypass, all good , i even had a little run myself to give her a quicker trot , she slowed brillaint , turned like a little star , so dad then asked me to get on , so i laid across her first to see how she was then took her up to our marsh , she hunched up a couple of times , but being bareback i could feel every muscle twitch and was ready to bail out if needed  she really went well , so got off had a good look at her all over , i like her  then he comes out with the classic , she hasnt had anything done for about 7 yrs because she threw everyone off!!!

i was right proud of myself because i vaulted straight on and i havent done that for a few years lol :clown:

he has called her molly

( im riding again tomorrow  )

vets coming on wednesday to do her teeth as they need a bit of a sort out

Aww she sounds an absolute sweetheart  I absolutely adore horses :huggles:

It's never too late to learn to ride tho......I always dreamt of it but didn't sit on my first horse until I was 27 years old and there's often stories in the horsey mags by folks who haven't started until they are in their 60's or 70's

Freisians ARE gorgeous    For those who've never seen one....
