Fantastic news! I don't know the circumstances of Danny going missing, from reading your comments I assume he went off hunting whilst out on exercise, the same as my Sophie did so I know exactly how you were feeling. I am really pleased for you that he is safe and well. I wouldn't bank on him learning his lesson though ............ Sophie hasn't and is still a numpty! LOL!!

Dessie danny dissapeared after a fight between Mabel and Sas one minute he was sitting in the ferns next he had gone.He doesn't have any prey drive so it is unlikely he went of hunting on his own it is most likely he lost sight on Tanya and got himself lost looking for her .He normally sticks to Tanya like glue and doesn't wander of which is so like his dad Owen

Tanya Owen says tell Danny how many times did he tell him not to wander of stay with mummy and if he does it again he'll be down there and give him a good nip for being naughty

How's Mabel this morning Tanya?
Mabel is fine this morn, she still looks a mess but as with wounds like this , they often look worse then they really are , its a tear so will open up dreadfully , she does resemble a mummy though!! :D she hasnt even got a limp!!

when i got in from searching i rechecked sas as she was lame and has a couple of tiny punture wounds to throat and front legs, but her collar has the most deep tooth drag in it , that would have done some serious damage has the collar not have been on!! she is stiff today too , alfie is still going on about it , as being on 3yrs old it was a horrible thing to witness :( , he was upset when i hadnt found danny but happy when i woke him up to go get him :) candice (lampingmad) was very upset as she takes danny to ringcraft to do junior handling and left here with heavyheart this morning before we found him , poor candice had to throw alfie clear when it broke out and she has never witnessed a real dog scrap and i dont think she realised just how far they will go in that type of situation :(

So thrilled he's home! :huggles: :huggles: That's made all our Christmasses! :santa:  :huggles:

I'm glad things are looking ok - I'm sure Father Christmas will help little Alfie get over it a little :))

I'm sure that you know this Tanya but watch those deep puncture wounds on Sas.

When a foster lurcher set about Bean's throat with intent one of the wounds didn't look too bad. Hmm there were crush injuries inside the wound that weren't visible, that wound needed vet treatment and a drain. :(

Having had two bitches in the past that suddenly took a dislike to each other and 3 further times decided to try to rip each others throats out it's a horrible position to be in, very little warning given (unlike with dogs) and straight for the throat. I always feel very sorry for anyone who has bitches that decide that they no longer like each other. It's not easy living with bitches that have taken against each other.

Dog fights always upset me. They make me feel sick and shaky inside. Poor little Alfie he's down at their level too must have been terrifiying and then to loose Danny as well.

Hope that the rest of your Christmas goes smoothly. :huggles:

Heya Tanya!

Brilliant news :D ..... I've posted on the other thread too!

Hope the girls will be OK after their set-to :( As the owner of two bitches I am wondering if they could go the same way as they are already quite aggressive towards each other? Does speying help??

Anyways, best of :luck: :luck: with the healing up process and once again, MERRY CHRISTMAS, HUN

(w00t) So very, very pleased for you !!! Have a lovely Christmas !! :huggles:

Glad you've got him back.

TCx

I've been off-line for a few days so I'm releived that I knew the happy ending before I read the other post.

So pleased he's safe and well and back home with you Tanya. :huggles:
