Happy Christmas Everyone! The guests are stuffing their faces with my canapés and drinking all my alcohol. The rest is in the oven and under control so I’ve sneaked on to put on this post lol! Apologies in advance for any errors, I’ve had a bit of bubbly 8)

Badger and his litter mates are 6 months old today, so just wanted to wish Vixen, Finn, Sophie and The Badge Man a very Happy Half Birthday!

It has been an amazing six months since I watched this lad being born, and I am thankful for every minute I’ve had with him, he truly is a little star!

We’ve had great fun, and since coming home to Alacrity this lad has been a busy boy. He’s been learning to live with ferrets, becoming a KC good citizen, actually going ferreting a few times, catching his first bunny, entering the ring as a Baby Puppy, and learning about the lure.

I couldn’t have asked for more. He gives 100% everyday and is an absolute peach.

Big thanks to all who’ve helped him on his way in different areas, Granny Dolly with his stacking advice, Jack, Steve, Mally, Bogie and Slipper for his ferreting trips and me for putting up with all his ‘Badge Man’ antics!

I’ve also been really lucky to have some amazing images of him taken, so many thanks to Olivia Pile (Olivia Pile Photography), Beaterslodge, Mally, Louise Tope (Dewerstone Photography), Mark Bennett (Stormburst) and of course, my mate Doris!

Hope the other pups are enjoying their Chrismas Day and Half Birthday as much as The Badge Man is…he’s got 7 people to harass all afternoon (w00t)

Hope you enjoy the slideshows!

Badge has had a FAB day! He's thoroughly enjoyed himself and been the life and soul of the party lol!

It only occured to me as I was laying the table that I have not done any formal entertaining since I had him  Sure people have been round, but 8 places at the table...I think not  So, it was a challenge, surely? He more than rose to it, and did a vertical jump right into the middle as everyone arrived (w00t)

After some raucous laughter (which sooo didn't help) he decided he'd get off and then behaved impeccably bless him.

He has now seen his mother seriously intoxicated, had another lovely walk, and is very stettled for the evening...

He says thanks for the good wishes, and hopefully he'll have some official 6 Month Photos to show you all on Thursday evening, as he has a rather special engagement that he's very excited about!

Hmmm I think a 50 pound ferret should feed a lot of people... :- " Can I come round for leftovers?? If not, can I have a couple of dwarf rabbits when I come...
