Jimmy currently wears a harness made by Kumfi which was recommended by our dog trainer.  It consists of straps of about 1cm wide around his midriff and shoulders/neck, that re joined by straps along his stomach and back.  It has rings to connect a lead at his shoulders and middle of his back - we use the one near his shoulders.  When Jimmy is out and about and gets excited - cats and dogs and anything else he wants to bark at - he tends to pull quite hard.  Whilst the harness can handle it, the straps do appear to constrict his throat and he makes a choking sound when pulling hard like he would if the lead was attached to his collar.  Also, the straps can't be that comfortable (kumfirtable?) in situations like this. So, I'm  looking for a more padded and comfortable harness, but with attachment points as I've described, perhaps something like this (I've not researched this particular one, just a quick search whilst at work, and also the clips look like plastic which doesn't sound good).  Does anyone have any recommendations please?

We use the Perfect fit harness for our girls, has a ring on the top and front of the harness but not on the shoulder,fits our Springer really well and when we first had it she didn’t pull so bad but has now got used to it and can still drag me if we spot a cat! Much better than just a collar though

Thanks for that, just searched online and they seem to get good reviews, so it'll be something I look at. I also know the feeling of getting pulled when a cat is in sight - had it twice this morning!
