Okey dokey so its a long time since I had a puppy in the house and I wanted to make sure that Ive not forgotten anything essential :D Can you think of anything else I need - that youve found useful?

Oddles of love, cuddles and kisses

Endless patience when things get chewed, wee-ed on, or worse lol

Forever home

Lots of play/walkies/two boys to run around with/puppy training classes

Someone at home all day to mooch around with (me!)

Another dog to snuggle up to

Puppy collar and lead (just very light fabric one for house and to get used to lead before official walkies)

Small dog tag

Crate (already had this) for bedtimes and safe haven.

Blankets to snuggle in crate

New pink polka dot bowls

I know what food shes on so will get nearer the time.

Soft grooming brush

puppy kong and other safe chew toys

raggy toy

soft teddy type toy

One that squeaks

Puppy frisbee

Ball that you can put food in and the pup pushes it around to get food out

Plenty of newspapers/kitchen roll/accident cleaning liquid

Anti chew spray

Stair gate

Plenty of understanding and patience when housetraining

Dog insurance (quote done)

Vets sorted for vaccs and emergencies

Anything else??

blimey your organised..................just need a cute little pup now :D

poop bags for your garden?

pillow, cushion or vet bed to go on the bottom of the crate?

think you have just about everything covered

oohh dont forget to have your camera at hand every minuite of the day, so you catch all of the pups funny antics

plenty of paper and kitchen roll for accidents  ..... and loads and loads of energy - get plenty of sleep now....

a large bottle of VODKA

tranquilisers.for you not the dog i hasten to add! ;)

Duck tape to fasten all your cables & flexes to the floor.

Sounds like you're very well organised, like Hely says plenty of batteries because we will need pics

I also think its a good thing you have a crate,I put lots of soft bedding with a cover over it to make it into a den, a puppy can get up to lots of mischief when you're out  o:)

:( Ear plugs and a little metal box with a lock on it to put your heart in for the first night.....

.. or you could take puppy to bed with you :huggles:

Our puppies love 'sockies' - take a few old socks (unwashed (yes really, they love the smell of 'you')) and stuff into a sock, tie a knot and then shove across the floor and watch puppy rugby tackle it  Our puppies always take them to bed for a cuddle :huggles:

im sure your more than ready for her  when are you going to pick her up :p :)

Camera

Tranquilisers AND Vodka  mayyybeeeee noooooottt

The sockies sound a brilliant idea - I have one of those washing machines that eat one of a pair of socks so I have a few of those.

Its the hardest part I should imagine - that first night when they are feeling all wierd and 'where am I' Evie will be sleeping in my bedroom at night till shes settled.

Im picking her up on the 16th June in 9 days, 20 hours and about 23 minutes - :teehee: :D (w00t)
