Went to the beach today,as it's been way over 20 degree's this last fortnight,or so.The place was absolutely packed, and the beach is about 2n1/2 mile's long.Everyone got burnt stupid,as we do.I am hopeing the salt water will clear Alannah's skin up,after the chickin pock's she's had.It was also a good chance to try the new camera out a bit more ,on different thing's.Although you have to be very carefull, were kid's are concerned these day's,as it's almost ileagle to take pic's with kid's in,without prmission from parent's or guardian's.So be very carefull at show's n stuff, where you point and shoot. But i dont think anyone will say to much about this one. And here's one, of our girl's,having the time of their live'sA_DAY_AT_THE_BEACH__BAND__S_014__2_.jpgBefore costing us a fortune, with one of these boy's . Who where strung out ,the whole way across 2n1/2 mile's of pure sand. This is the best beach in Ireland, and has won the award for being so,for years now.So if any of you are visiting N.Ireland this summer.Have a day here.BENONE BEACH,COUNTY LONDONDERRY.You wont regret it.A_DAY_AT_THE_BEACH__BAND__S_025.jpgThe pic of the girl's was taken from 300 yrds +,and the one of the dog, about 250.

Hot, clammy bloody horrible-sick of flies!

How much Jeyes fluid/Raid fly killer is one supposed to use?

The ferrets are definitely a fly magnet :(

Roll on winter.............

Kieth.Believe it or not mate, but i alway's have dream's like these, ever since i was caught up in a shoot out between them and the squadies,in a field beside where i used to live. You see i lived right beside the barrack's,and one night i went into the field, and as soon as i released the 2 norfolk pup's,one of them ran right over the field to where one of the gunmen where, and give them away,so to speak. So instead of waiting for a target, they just oppened up on the camp, with me smack bang in the middle of them. All i could do was hit the deck, and let the dog's take care of themselve's.What a battle, mate. It was like Iraq. Then a civi car came round the corner to the camp, and as they new where it was going to,they had a go at it,hitting it over 70 time's,but thankfully nobody was killed. When the shooting stopped, and the gang were making their get away. One of them came straight at me,and in a threatening sort of manner, pointed the gun at my head and pulled the trigger,as if to say,you B.....d.Irecon he new the mag was empty. And to tell the truth,so were my bowel's.Everytime im on a certain tablet now,i get these flash back's and nightmare's.Hopefully youre's is a one off Keith. What tablet's are you on.Thankfully that's all supposed to be over now with the so called piece pipe treaty. But time will tell.It would be nice if life was normal again, and just like it was yesterday at the beach with the kid's.Will be going again today,as the show i was going too, isnt worth the bother, and it's to hot anyway, with it being 20 degrees at 10 this morning.Hope you get this weather soon, whereever you are. ...Billy...

Nice pics - the sea looks very inviting. We're going to County Londonderry in August, so will definitely be visiting that beach! Really looking forward to it.

I'm in Londonderry/Derry/Stroke city/Whatever you wanna call it.

Benone Beach is great..... but cos i don't drive I've yet to get the dogs down there. (I'm still working on my parents to convince them two dogs in the car are grand, but Archies puking ain't helping!!)

I also love Downhill Beach, near the Mussenden Temple, some old friends of mine had a hoilday home there, lots of good time memories. 8) It's close to Benone.

How's your little girl gettin on now Billy? Is she coping well with the diabetes? (i need to start behaving again mysel!!)

Took Alannah cycling around lough Braden today,as it was another thumper of a day.Had to carry all the bit's n pieces though, just in case. The last day we did the lough,Alannah had to stop quite a few time's and was exhausted.Today she was her old self, and full of it.We realy enjoyed ourselve's as it was just her and me.A little special, time's like this.We took a few pic's too of course.Would'nt be dressed right me,without the camera.Anyway, here's a couple.Took the blood sugar's back at the car ,and they were 6.8,which was great.A_DAY_AT_THE_BEACH__BAND__S_004.jpgA_DAY_AT_THE_BEACH__BAND__S_003.jpg
