Brought our Whippet home on Dec22 last year and all totally in love with him.He has brought much happiness into our lives.He is great off the lead,however our plans to not have him in the bedroom have fell by the wayside.We had constant whining when we left him downstairs so now sleeps in his crate in our room.Not heard a peep since.
He is teething and my arm looks like a well used dartboard at present although I know things will improve in time on that front.He is eating well and enjoys his walks but boy can he sleep!!!! He seems permanently horizontal!!!!
We haven' cracked the potty training yet but will persevere on that front.
I am enjoying this website enormously.

Welcome! What a gorgeous picture There's a thread on here about breaking your own dog rules (not sleeping in the bedroom) and I think most of us have fallen victim to that!

Yes most of us here have defiantly broken that rule! They just like to be part of the pack

Oh I broke that rule big time today - had our bed to myself and when Jimbo came in in advance of his early walk, he jumped up on the bed as usual but this time sneaked under the duvet! Good job his mum wasn't around!
