I am absolutely gutted for you Kim. :'(

I hope with all my heart that the surgery has worked sufficiently :luck: thinking of you all :huggles:

Very sorry to read this, thinking of you :(

I am so sorry to hear about Tilly and am at a loss for any words that would be of comfort.

All you can do is enjoy the time you have left.

Scrumpy will cope as long as he has you.

I lost Peat very suddenly and unexpectedly last year, totally unprepared mentaly. One day he was larger than life and within a few hours he was gone. it broke my heart. He was my first ever dog and we adored each other. His mother missed him dreadfully at first even tho she had the others for comfort. Getting Toddy (7 month old rescue hound from hell) a month later helped lot. He was such hard work that I did not have time to continue grieving. I was not really ready but in hindsight it pulled me and the rest of the pack together.

Tilly is probably better having the time she has left free of constant trips to the vets for unpleasant treatments that may only give her a short respite. I hope that the surgery caught the tumor early and has at least bought you more time together.

Thinking of you all :luck: :luck: :luck:

Thank you everyone for your kind words xx

I am so gutted I am no use today. I will pull myself up and get on with things tomorrow.

That's terrible news and I am so sorry. Make the most of your little Tilly and my little Tilly sends her lots of slobbery kisses.

So sorry to read the bad news about Tilly. You must be absolutely shellshocked, it's not something you prepare for at such a young age.

I too have a Scrumpy & strangely enough she had a small lump removed from her chest today & I now have the long wait for the results :sweating:

Hugs from mine to yours :huggles:

Only just seen this, so sorry to hear about Tilly. Hope that she is with you for sometime yet and you will have some

happy times with her.

So sorry to hear this Kim, I hope you have as long as possible with Tillyx

Again thank you so much for your well wishes

I think we have come to the decision that we wont put her through chemo, its not just the money, but I dont

want her to go through the pain and sickness if it wont help and they cant garentee that.

So i am just hoping they have got it all out and that i will have loads more time with her

Just a funny slant on things, hubby received my phone call about her at work, his work mate asked what was wrong and hubby told him about Tilly. Im really sorry to hear that he said, how is she?.....She is fine, I havent told her yet was hubbys reply :)

so, so sorry to hear your news... our thoughts are with you all x

bean had a lump removed before Christmas and i was a complete wreck - not Cancer thankfully but we have been told to be very vigilant as it was borderline...

these dogs are just heart breakers...

tracy x

I might well be wrong here , but Im pretty sure animals do not have the same reaction to chemo ( sickness etc ) as humans

Update

The lump is back in the same place, just as big.

I cant keep having the lump cut out, its not fair on her to keep going under the anaesthetic.

So I think we will just have to let her carry on till the time comes.

I am gutted, words cant express how I feel :(
