Jonah's just eaten quite a lot of Benecol spread. I think that too much fat is not good for dogs so should I do anything about it? Thanks. Thought I'd ask here before bothering the vets.

Hi Dawn, I could just imagine Jonah doing that. (w00t) We've never had such a thief before although he doesn't get up on the work tops. He just uses his paws to pull things closer to him or picks cutlery up delicately in his mouth and lowers it gently to the floor and then proceeds to lick it clean. I think he's very clever but we have to be so careful and we slipped up by leaving the Benecol out. He's asleep at the moment but hopefully is OK but he did make me feel really shakey for a while. :sweating:pegun1 said:(w00t) (w00t) naughty Jonah i doubt he will learn lol. I remember about 26 years ago (eeeeeek) showing my age now, I had a whippet that used to get up onto the worktops as soon as my back was turned,One day i went out and forgot to put the chip pan away yes you guessed she ate the full pan of fat .....heehee its a whippet thing :- "
He's just been really sick Janis so hopefully he's brought most of it up but he's not happy at the moment although he doesn't seem to be really ill but I can't relax yet. :sweating:Janimal said:Naughty little Jonah again... :- " Im sure he will be fine Gillian.... :huggles: :luck: :luck:
He is feeling very sorry for himself Clair but he took a tiny bit of dog biscuit off me just now so maybe his tummy's feeling a little bit better. He can be such a pest but when they're like this you just want to see them running around and creating havoc again. :thumbsup:meddling said:Whoops! Hope you don't have too awful a night with the little thief :huggles:
