Hi All!

As you can see from a previous post, Dudley has found a lovely home and has settled in much better than I could ever of hoped. He warmed to his new family instantly, which for Dudley is fabulous as he's usually so wary of strangers. I am soooo pleased with his new home and I am more than confident that he will have a much better home with his new family than he would have with me had I kept him It was so heart wrenchingly sad to see him go and I can still here him whine in a morning when he wants to go for a wee, I can smell him everywhere!! 2008 was not the best of years for me.... And afew of you I know.... but Dudley has gone to a great home, it is best for him. So, for me... That was a good close to 2008. And here is to 2009, may it be a good year for you all, I will still be lurking on the forum, reading about your whippies, it keeps me smiling

Oh Emma, you have such a brilliant positive attitude...and yes I know I'm sure you have your moments, but i'm so glad that you are still going to be about on the forum and hopefully one day you will be ready and able to take another little streaky dog into your home.

You were so brave and right finding Dudders a home and I'm so glad that you have found him the perfect fireside.

Today I got an e-mail from one of my dog's I pet homed just over a year ago.

Im lucky as they keep intouch. They still visit a few times a year, but happy to go back to their new homes :thumbsup:

Dudley will be fine, you did right for the dog, loads don't and the dog's not happy.

When you see him, say in a few month's time, he walk's away, without a care in the world,,you did the right thing :thumbsup:

:wub: :wub: well i can vouch for the fact that Dudley has a lovely new home because ................ it is us ( im also known as Whippy Kisses)

Emma was so brave to give up her little man. She is a lovely person and selfless, we love her to bits.

Dudley has joined me (Alison), dave Ben and Molly. He is settling really well and thinks Molly is a sweetie. We adore him and only want the best for him.

We will keep Emma updated on his progress. I could not wish for a dog who has had a better start in life, than the one that Emma has given Dudley...... and we will only continue that.
