Us lot down in Bristol did one yesterday and I think we picked the better weather :- "  :clown:
Yes...there were some mutterings on our walk, something to the effect, 'Bristol...Saturday...sunshine...weren't they lucky' etc. We would go and pick the one day it decided to rain in the last few weeks.

I can't help laughing though when I look back through the photos, so I must have enjoyed it.

Julie, it may be safer to leave Rafferty at home next time, because Gillian or I may have to sneak him home when you're not looking. He's gorgeous...and so are your other two...I'm in love with lurchers and beddies now. Bless...you can't blame him not liking the rain with all those lovely curls...you should see what the rain does to my curly hair. Luckily it was covered up by my inside-out hat

Has Muffin recovered Gillian? He certainly looks happy to be back home in the warm again. :p

Such a shame there are no clear photos of Ella although Gillian's one pretty much says it all ;) . She was racing around most of the walk and having such a good time, it was hard to catch her on camera. Muffin was having fun trying to keep up with her, but he was hampered somewhat :b

We had a nice peaceful afternoon/evening as Muffin hardly moved from his comfy sofa. :- " He did change places occasionally but only to fill in any warm spot that we'd just vacated! It was lovely to see the dogs enjoying themselves so much. Muffin doesn't get a chance to run about too much because he's still an only dog :( and doesn't have quite the incentive when it's just him and us and a ball! And now I've gone and got myself a job, it looks like we may have to wait a little bit longer for that blue/black/white puppy I've set my heart on. :huggles:

Nicola, Rafferty is keping a very low profile today, well as low as the window ledge where he's been all morning. If I move towards the front door he goes into his bed in case I make him leave the warmth of the house :D

Hope Fred has recovered from his exertions (w00t) He certainly doesn't act his age.

Have you noticed it's not raining today, with luck like that it's no wonder I don't win the lottery :luck:

:D Ella was comatose all the way home and all the rest of the day, wish I could've been too, but had to get some packing started for a 1/2 term trip to sunny Dubai, don't think I'll be needing my pink wellies there ! :- "
