are you using photo bucket john, because on there you can choose what size pic you want to upload.

also when i post pics i copy and paste each pic under each other up to 6 usually then post reply.hope ive made sense

The most ive ever got on was 4 ,just the other day.But they had to be very small,to get them on.Most of the time im like John, and can only get 2 sort of 5n1/2 by 3 n 1/2 on.Ive put mine on photo bucket, but dont know how to upload from there ,as i havent a clue how to copy the link,or what it means. So John, its realy great to hear that im not the only plonker on here, with pic trouble. ...Billy...

I use irfanview to crop all my images to 640X480 then I upload them onto photobucket, the maximum I can post is 8 images and they seem to be about the right size without folk having to scroll left to right.

www.irfanview.com It's a free download and a relatively small photo editing programme but I wouldn't reccomend it for improving photo quality as they can look a bit hazy.

I dont resize any of my pictures now unless Im posting one at a time as.....

Photobucket now resizes your pictures perfectly - they offer you I think its three choices to upload to a website.

I like the middle sized ones - perfect.

Copy and past the IMG code John from photobucket (photobucket does this for you now too) one after the other - and you should be able to post quite a few pictures together.

I have never been able to work the picture thing out either, so here goes and thanks to all the helpful posts! Meet Izzy, she loves the beach.

The first 2 are Filey, our usual haunt. The latter is Overstrand nr Cromer in Norfolk, last weekend with Izzy's favourite cousin Rita the lurcher!

I got pictures there but I think I still need to resize them..... small steps make progress though.

I know Jan and your right it does resize them perfectly, the problem for me though is if I dont reduce the sizes prior to upload is it can take an absolute age to upload 20 piks at 8 million megapixels. Most race events now I'm clocking up 200+ piks, I sift through the best shots of every race if I can, giving me about 50 images then I try to simultaneously edit, re-size, upload to photobucket and link the best piks onto K9.

Yes I can see what you mean :) 20 pictures is quite a lot at a time. there is a facility on photobucket I havnt tried yet - for uploading lots of photos - there is a little message near the upload bit. Maybe this would solve our problems.
