Why would anybody think that death from Frontline is quick or painless? They are probably dying in agony for weeks :- "

Just because they fall off the dog does not mean they are dead, even if they are not moving does not mean they are dead.

Cold makes a flea to stop moving, and so Lloyd's flea was floating in a cold water on its bubbles, it just went hibernating, and when pulled out went straight to find something to eat.

Must admit I hate Frontline myself :) .......but it has to be a quicker death than 7 days and STILL ALIVE in a glass of water ........I know this is only a Flea, but then I dislike cats but I think people would be offended if I posted that I had placed a cat in water and was waiting to see how long it took for it to die .......At the end of the day a living thing is living and we shouldn't take pleasure in seeing how long it takes for it to die .......But really this is my own honest opinion for what its worth

Hmmmmm this topic has been the subject of much heated debate today.

We discovered that Jane says the only way to kill a flea instantly is to bite its head off - so she sucks hers.

Carmel prefers hers lightly fried with garlic or dipped in a mixture of egg, flour and milk.

Yvonne offers all such fleas a home at her battered flea sanctuary. In actuality a shoebox in her garage. Donations welcome! She never knowingly puts a healthy flea down.

I wouldn't like to be you Lloyd - did you know that the members of the F.L.F. are all flea-radicals and they are hopping mad

DEATH TO FLEAS

I have been contacted by a representitive of the flea community who has asked me to convey the following message:

Ok, so we caused the bubonic plague.

Ok, we are generally considered parasitic pests.

Ok, we have no emotions, don't feel pain and have the brain the size of a speck of dust.

BUT.............

After picking a rogue flea from a certain whipppet who shall remain nameless (the shame of it all) and dumping it in a glass of water (the flea that is), I decided to do a controlled experiment to see : How long can a flea survive in a glass of water. The answer will be revealed on Sunday, The closest guess (in days) will win a million pounds

Get a bin full of water weight the cat down and see how long it survives in the water :- " the fleas will save it they do well in water?

OK off to give myself a warn level o:)

Can I just point out that I removed a post this morning by Jue332's Husband Paul at Jue332's request after a message from her stating she had her OH's permission to have it removed?

But today I found out from Jue332's OH that he hadn't given his permission for the post to be removed? now the question is do I up her warn level for

1 ~ lieing to a Mod

2 ~ lieing & useing a freind for her own personal gain?

Nothing that Julie does anymore shocks me though :- "

Has any-one noticed I haven't said any-thing? Does that mean I earn myself a "Get out of Jail Flea" card?

You've forgotten their role as entertainers Lloyd.

You could have provided your little flea with a white flag so that when he could no longer cope with it he could wave it and signal his surrender.

 Haven't you lot got better things to talk about or do. Did the discussion take place at racing or at the pub. I didn't seem to stop all day, the topics fleas, killing things or K9 posts never came up once. All too busy getting on with racing, training pups and clearing Tinks on a bend.

Jane, I want a demonstration of your flea decapitation technique next time I see you  and Carmel however did you develop that recipe? Do you find that it goes down well at dinner parties?

Lieing to a mod?????????haven't seen the K9 rule about that one, I would never lie to you though :- "

And everybody knows it is only fair for a wife to make decisions on her husbands behalf to save him from embarrasment if he is talking bollocks :*

By the way there was only you and him that thought he wasn't :- "

BTW if you're going to give yourself a warn level i reckon 60% is a good number :teehee:
