These whippets just cant seem to get enough sleep
sofasleep.gif

Yesterday was a typical day. Get up have breakfast, go to the beach,

come home and SLEEP on the sofa. Sun's out so i put the beds in the

yard, SLEEP in the yard. Later on i do some weeding in the garden so

they follow and SLEEP in the flowerbeds.

Later still i wake them up and take them on the beach again, home

for tea and they SLEEP in the yard as the sun is still out.

In the evening i had a couple of friends round, while we have a drink

and chat guess what this lot are doing............

They woke up in time to go upstairs to bed

Aha!!! You are mistaken.......

It is a very common mistake of whippet owners country wide....

Whippets do not sleep........they are planning with their eyes closed for the next chase or cuddle and how to look cold and starved in an instant - it takes a lot of scheming -_- -_- :))

my lots the same ann, thats why having 6..almost 7 is a breeze (w00t) even mollys the same bless her :huggles: they just sleep almost all the time there at home :huggles:

Very exhausting schedule they have

They really should be called bed hounds :teehee:

Beautiful whippets btw

Anne what lovely pictures....dosnt Alba look so settled... :huggles: youve done a fantastic job there... its so lovely to see them all happy... :huggles:

You do have a lovely family

Im amazed how much they sleep too, I have had alot of dogs in and out of this house and I cant believe how easy whippets are to have around, (Lucy is my first) When lucy arrived initially I kept looking for her thinking.. shes very quiet she must be up to something... only to find her curled up fast asleep on the sofa

(w00t) Wish mine would sleep for a while!!! :sweating: :sweating:

I've been on the go since Sox arrived on Friday afternoon

talulla is clearly not a whippet!

she refuses to sleep as much as Bean and Ghillie - she then of course has to have a partner in crime, so poor Miss Mabel Moo is woken often by a squeaky toy being thrust in her face (w00t)

mabel is the only one that will not tell her off for being a pest

lovely pictures and where did you get those beautiful pink collars????

i can just see my blue girlies in those x

was gonna ask the same about the pink collars, they are lovely, are they leather?

-_- -_- Jesse spends most of his time sleeping, even before the cancer, either that or

eating with a bit of exercise squeezed in between

Sonia and Jesse xx
